Mr. Fourr has been practicing law for more than 20 years, the past five years working almost
entirely with Internet and other information technology companies. Since forming Licensing Strategies in 1996, Mr. Fourr has represented a wide variety of information technology companies, including Internet
commerce, information and service companies; application software developers; computer hardware system and component manufacturers; telecommunications equipment manufacturers; database
companies and multimedia companies. Mr. Fourr has represented companies in a wide variety of technology partnering and transfer deals (See "Transactional Matters") and acted as part-time general counsel for
clients (See "General Counsel Services").
Prior to forming Licensing Strategies, Mr. Fourr was a member of Venture Law Group's intellectual property practice group. At Venture
Law Group, he represented computer systems companies, integrated circuit manufacturers and software developers in licensing transactions, joint ventures, acquisitions, corporate partnerings and financings.
Prior to joining Venture Law Group, Mr. Fourr was Senior University Counsel for Stanford University. He represented the University in
intellectual property and other litigation matters. He was lead trial counsel for the University in several cases.
Mr. Fourr has served as a mediator, arbitrator and early neutral evaluator
in disputes involving patent, copyright and trademark infringement and trade secrets matters. He has helped parties to resolve disputes involving core company technology, nationally recognized trademarks
and misappropriation of software.
Mr. Fourr began his legal career as an Assistant United States Attorney
for the United States Department of Justice. He prosecuted white-collar and political corruption cases, both in Philadelphia and San Francisco. Mr. Fourr tried numerous jury cases and argued before the United
States Courts of Appeals for the Third and Ninth Circuits.

Mr. Fourr is a member of the San Francisco Intellectual Property Law
Association, the Silicon Valley Intellectual Property Law Association and the Intellectual Property Section of the California State Bar.
EDUCATION
Mr. Fourr received his Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and his
law degree from Stanford Law School. Mr. Fourr was a member of the Stanford Law Review and served on the Law Review Board of Editors.
